5-MeO-DMT is a naturally occurring compound carried in the secretion of the Bufo alvarius toad — the Sonoran Desert Toad — used for centuries in indigenous ceremony. The medicine is harvested sustainably and respectfully, and is received by smoking, which brings a rapid onset. The journey itself is short, usually 15 to 30 minutes. 5-MeO-DMT is powerful, and we treat it that way. It isn't safe alongside certain medications or heart, blood-pressure, and mental-health conditions — which is exactly why the health screening comes first, and why it's thorough. The experience can be physically and emotionally intense while it lasts. Most risk comes from working outside a safe, screened, well-held setting; we reduce it with careful screening, an experienced facilitator present the whole time, and a calm, controlled space. Several, and none are optional. Everyone completes a full health and medical screening that we read personally, so we know your history, medications, and conditions before anything begins. We follow up with a one-to-one conversation. Ceremony is held by an experienced facilitator who stays with you throughout, in a private, protected space — never a crowd, never rushed. We also ask you to consult your physician beforehand. If something isn't safe for you, we'll tell you honestly.

Every journey begins with our health and medical intake screening — required for every offering. The facilitators read it personally, then arrange a call to answer your questions and make sure this is your time. Before ceremony you'll also complete a consent and waiver form. Once you're cleared and everything's in place, we hold your spot and send your preparation and retreat details.

Yes — you won't arrive cold. You're prepared for weeks before you travel: screened, taught what you're walking into, and guided on how to ready your body and mind. For the Practitioner Training, a study manual arrives about 30 days ahead (around 20 hours of material). By the time you arrive, none of it is unfamiliar.

Always. The days after a ceremony are where the work settles, so we stay with you — as a group and one to one. Retreat guests are supported for about a month after returning home; practitioner trainees continue with weekly gatherings and a private group of fellow facilitators. Integration is included, not an add-on.
